LUZMAR offers professional and very peronal service: You will be guided from the first inquiry on our website, to your personal airport pick up in Mindelo - a welcome dinner in one of the best restaurants, certainly, courtesy of the house.
There we will chat about the local people, the country, the yachts and naturally your cruise. Our yachts are constantly supervised and maintained. It's all plain sailing, no matter whether you want only a few short trips, or venture on a 2-week journey around these unbelievably beautiful islands. It has to be stressed that the area is demanding as well as incredibly beautiful. Demanding, because the constant strong winds can reach NE 4 to 5, building up waves between the islands. On longer journeys (maximum 135 sm between Vicente and Brava) you will experience long Atlantic waves, which are pure fun for sailing.
For a bareboat charter,we require substantial sailing experience. Good navigation skills are imperative. A sailing licence is not absolutely necessary, but desirable. However, if you have less experience we can arrange a sailing guide to sail with you for a day or for the duration of your cruise. Together we can discuss your sailing experience and select the best alternative to make your trip unforgettable.

The experience that LUZMAR has is easily described: our management consists of professional yachtsmen with at least 25 years yachting experience, including a licensed captain for commercial sea going shipping. For 6 years the local crew have taken care of the yachts, they speak excellent German, Portuguese, French and English and can accompany you as sail guides or crew, as necessary.
